After an incredible two weeks in September during which TRIAD's Executive Director Brooke Wurst, Director of Research & Evaluation Kelly Jarvis, and Music Education Director Marika Hughes identified candidates for the newest ImprovED troupe, Brooke is already back on the ground leading the next round of training in Lamardelle, Haiti.

Monthly in-person trainings are supplemented by weekly online trainings during which troupe members and administrators from our local partner, FEJ, continue to develop their skils and knowledge.

To date, the troupe has created lessons about Peer Pressure, Self Esteem, Gender Equity, and Sexual Orientation. These lessons include original songs, interactive scenes during which students will participate in the decision-making, and dynamic, in-depth discussions facilitated by the troupe members.

We're all looking forward already to our November training, when longtime TRIAD Music Education guru Marika Hughes returns and new Program Development Director Caitlin O'Malley works with the troupe.
